May 21, 2011: “Girls Night Out” Mental Health Matters: Lets Talk Event (Dorchester)

Liz Walker’s Better Living Campaign, in partnership with The Boston Public Health Commission, presents “Girls Night Out” at Healthworks in Codman Square. Leslie will lead two short Afro Flow Yoga demos at 4:00pm and 4:30pm. Event features special guest, Massachusetts First Lady, Diane Patrick.

May 7, 2011 3:15-3:45pm: Wake Up the Earth Festival in Jamaica Plain

Join us for the amazing local event, Wake Up the Earth Festival, in Jamaica Plain on Saturday, May 7th (rain date, Sunday May 8th).  The Festival is held near the Stoneybrook T stop on the Orange line and will run from 12-6pm.  Leslie will teach a 30 minute Afro Flow Yoga class at 3:15pm–don’t miss it!

As skincare products go, I suppose you could categorize me as a “junkie”.  I’ve tried everything from inexpensive creams that promise a lot, but do nothing because they’re made from chemicals and junk (won’t name names here, but take a look at your lotion bottle today and google the ingredients…ugh) AND very expensive, organic products that promise to lift you (and your skin) straight into the ether…as long as you can PAY!
